There are two thriving Youth Groups that attract 8 – 18 year olds and which meet in the theatre on Thursday evenings during term time. The first group, 8 - 11 year olds, is administered by Heather Fellowes whilst the older group of 12 - 18 year olds is administered by James Firth-Haydon, and Matt Haynes.
The younger group of 8 – 11 year olds offer the participants the opportunity of learning the various skills needed for performance in the theatre. The sessions include learning about the developing areas of speech, interpretation, mime, singing, dance and working from script and characterisation. All this is done through themed plays, acting out scenes and stories.
